Description
Scarce WWII United States GI pack of Camel Turkish & Domestic Blend cigarettes, unopened but pierced. Pack is inside a great, Jemco "Hold-A-Pak" protector. The Hold-A-Pack contains a pack of "Camel 20's" and features a great tax stamp that reads: "FREE OF TAX FOR USE ONLY OF U. S. MILITARY OR NAVAL FORCES IN ALASKA AND HAWAII, OR FOR USE OUTSIDE THE JURISDICTION OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES". The side of the pack reads "Factory No. 1 District of North Carolina" and the reverse: "Don't look for premiums or coupons, as the cost of the tobaccos blended in CAMEL Cigarettes prohibits the use of them."
