ARTIFACT:
Scarce WWII G1 high-neck sweater in very nice condition, approximately size 40. Introduced in 1942, the sweater is olive drab in color, made out of 100% worsted wool, and features a button up throat closure with five matching olive drab buttons and vertical ribbed details on the cuffs and waistband.

Approximately Size 40: 21" from armpit to armpit; 27" length from collar to hem (on reverse); 23" from shoulder seam to cuff; 20" between shoulders
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
100% worsted wool, resin buttons

Button-up throat closure
MARKINGS:
Illegible handwriting in black marker to the inside of the collar.
