Scarce WWII 14K Gold Pratt & Whitney Aircraft 5 Years of Service Pin

This is a scarce, WWII period 14 karat gold five years of service pin for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. The pin reads 5 YEARS PRATT & WHITNEY USA DEPENDABLE ENGINES and shows an eagle at center and a winged hourglass at bottom beneath a white star.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 11/16" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

14 karat gold with blue and white enamel details. 2.1 dwt.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS:

14K and Whitehead & Hoag Logo Maker Mark.
