Scarce WWI Sterling Agent Lapel Pin for US Food Administration with Maker Mark

This is a scarce World War I agent lapel pin in sterling silver for the United States Food Administration. The pin shows a brightly enameled starred and striped crest at its center encircled by a border of wheat.

Circa World War I.

Approximately 11/16" in diameter.

Gilt sterling silver, enamel.

Single screw post with disc backing.

STERLING on reverse of pin; C. G. BRAXMAR on backing.
