Description
Scarce WWI 75 mm black artillery round shell casing in original cardboard and steel canister. The top of the canister reads: "75 MM G.M 1897:16:17 AND H.M1 BLANK CONTAINER .75 MM.M 27 AI" the bottom of the canister reads the same but also has white paint that reads: "LOT P A-40". The shell reads: "75 MM MXX (with the number 18 beneath) LOT 1285 - 21 F. A. E. D. B. FC MOD 97.16.17".

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The artillery and canister show minor to moderate overall wear, the steel caps on the canister show some oxidation, much of the painted details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
