ARTIFACT: This is a scarce Vietnamese-made United States Army Air Crew gunner wing. It shows a crest of an eagle in profile flanked by two spread wings. The wing was made through sandcasting, a process which makes the front appear buffed and the reverse appear pebbly in texture.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: 2-1/2" wing.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sandcast brass.

ATTACHMENT: Two pins with clutch-back fasteners.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAEX09 LFJX

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The wing shows some slight scuff marks on front.
