This is a scarce Vietnamese-made United States Army Air Crew gunner wing. It shows a crest of an eagle in profile flanked by two spread wings. The wing was made through sandcasting, a process which makes the front appear buffed and the reverse appear pebbly in texture.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:2-1/2" wing.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sandcast brass.
ATTACHMENT:Two pins with clutch-back fasteners.
MARKINGS:None.
