ARTIFACT: Scarce circa 1968 United States Army 458th Transportation Co. River Patrol Boat pocket patch made in Saigon by Cheap Charlies. The 458th was also known as the "Seatigers". The center of the patch depicts a shield bearing a dagger in gold and green detail with another dagger below pointing down with electric bolts in between the two in white embroidered detail. The outer edge of the patch reads: "RIVER PATROL BOAT 458" in gold embroidered lettering.

VINTAGE: Circa 1968.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered cotton, silk/polyester/cotton threads, treated canvas backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto uniform.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX16 LAGEX10/16

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The patch shows minor wear and soiling, the colors remain bright, overall excellent condition.
