This is a scarce July 1943 restricted propaganda/morale booklet on "The Story of the Memphis Belle". In May 1943 the Memphis Belle became the first United States Army Air Forces heavy bomber craft to complete 25 European missions and then return home safely. Pictured above is the Belle's crew.

Published July 1943 (World War II).
SIZE:
36 pages; approximately 6-3/4" in height and 4-1/8" in width.
