Scarce German 1930s "Luftfahrt Ist Not!" (Aviation is Necessary!) Book

This is a scarce hardcover copy of the German book "Luftfahrt Ist Not! Unter dem Protektorat des Deutschen Luftfahrtverbandes" or "Aviation is Necessary! Under the Patronage of the German Aviation Association". It was published in Leipzig and Nürnberg (Nurenberg). The book is large and contains four mounted watercolor illustrations signed by W. (Wilhelm) Petersen.

Circa early 1930s.

399 pages with black and white photographs and color illustrations; approximately 11-1/8" in height and 8-3/4" in width and 1-1/2" in thickness.

Embossed cloth-bound cover, glossy paper.

Glued binding.

7+ (Very Fine+): The book has some light wear to medium wear to the cover and minor spots of discoloration; small tear on title page but the rest of the inside of the book is in great condition.
