Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce early World War II Italian Air Force pilot dive bomber qualification badge, gold level, in plated zinc instead of the typical aluminum. The badge is by Bomisa of Milan. The center of the badge shows a golden winged lightning bolt.

VINTAGE:

Circa early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-15/16" in height and 1-5/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated zinc.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS:

BOMISA MILANO.
