Scarce, early WWII 1940 dated, Wehrmacht Practice Stick Grenade. The stick grenade features a wooden handle with the letters: "Ub" and the date "1940", the handle also displays a stamp of the Parteiadler, the symbol of the Nazi Party with letters beneath that are hard to make out, could possibly be NSDAP (the abbreviation for the Nazi Party). The top of the stick grenade is red painted steel and looks to be three piece riveted construction. The bottom of the handle features an aluminum screw cap that opens to load the artillery into the stick.
