Description
This is a scarce 1920 Stahlhelm member badge. Formed by some World War I veterans in 1918, the Stahlhelm was an early paramilitary force promoting brotherhood, mutual care and order in a precarious time in German history. The badge is in enameled silver-plated bronze and pictures a raised steel helmet (stahlhelm) and a pair of oak leaves.

SIZE:Approximately 1-3/8" in diameter.

ATTACHMENT:Vertical T-style pin with C catch.
