ARTIFACT: This is a scarce circa 1967-1972 Continental Air Services Inc. (CASI) bullion captain's wing. CASI was begun in 1965 as a line strictly for United States governmental business in southeast Asia. The wing has the Continental logo at its center and four stars above.

VINTAGE: Circa 1967-1972.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 3-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silk-wrapped cardboard embroidered with bullion and cotton/silk threads, brass catches, brushed cotton backing.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts with clutch-back catches.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRAJX10 LDGEX2/11 LDBEX2/11

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The wing shows some light wear and tarnish on the bullion.
