ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare badge from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Plant "K." This company created some of the most influential avionic engine designs, the most being the "Wasp" and "Hornet." They continued to innovate their engines all throughout World War II, and they continue to innovate to this day.

VINTAGE: Circa 1943.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" x 1-3/8.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver plated "white metal".

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS: Obverse: "UNITED AIRCRAFT CORP. P.&W. AIRCRAFT PLANT K. 92 Reverse: "PAT. 2066969."
