Scarce 1950's Ð 1960's Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles Hat Badge. The center of the badge depicts the State Seal of Massachusetts and a banner below which reads: "ENSE PETIT PLACIDAM SUB LIBERTATE QUIETEM". Two additional banners read: "REGISTRY OF MOTOR VEHICLES" and "MASSACHUSETTS". The reverse of the badge is numbered: "281"
