ARTIFACT: Scarce 1930's United States Marine Corps Base San Diego Works Progress Administration worker badge. The numbered badge reads: "U.S. MARINE CORPS BASE 485 W.P.A. SAN DIEGO, CALIF." in black painted detail.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated brass, black paint

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows minor wear, much of the plated and painted details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
