Description
This is a scarce circa 1930 Type 1-D Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout ring in sterling silver. The ring has an oval face enameled in red, white and blue from left to right, and a figure 8 rope knot gracing each side. The ring of course shows an eagle holding a banner the famous "BE PREPARED" motto and surrounding the eagle it reads: "EAGLE SCOUT". The Boy Scouts first congregated in Texas in 1910.
