Description
This is a rare circa 1930 Type 1-A Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout ring in sterling silver - this ring has been identified as the first Eagle Scout ring ever made (eaglescoutbadge.com). The ring has an oval face enameled in red, white and blue from left to right, and a figure 8 rope knot gracing each side. The ring of course shows an eagle holding a banner the famous BE PREPARED motto. The Boy Scouts first congregated in Texas in 1910.
