This is a Scarce 1930’s – 1940’s Federal Prison Service United States Department of Justice Guard Hat Badge by Metal Arts.

VINTAGE:

1930s -1940s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/4" in height x 2" in width

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

"Blue" 1930s Chrome-plated brass, and brass backings.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing with Two pins.

MARKING:

METAL ARTS CO. ROCH, N.Y.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent)

The badge shows minor wear and front gold washed off but overall, it is in excellent condition.
