This is a nicely enameled lapel pin for the 14th Annual Conference of the Railroad Young Men's Christian Association (RRYMCA), held in Chicago from October 3-6, 191The first RRYMCA was established beginning in 1872 as a place of lodging and social venue for railroad workers who often toiled on jobs a long way from their homes. The badge shows a triangle in front of a train and reads CO-OPERATION SAFETY EFFICIENCY JOHN 17 21.
VINTAGE:Circa 1912.
SIZE:Approximately 9/16" in height x 13/16" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Lapel stud.
