ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce 1910s Special Deputy Sheriff badge from Silver Bow County, Montana, the county seat of which is Butte. The 6-point star badge has some nice decorative details.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1910s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-15/16" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.

None.
