This is a 1930s Rock Island County, Illinois chief deputy sheriff five-point star badge. The badge shows the seal of the State of Illinois and reads CHIEF DEPUTY SHERIFF ROCK ISLAND CO., ILL.

Circa 1930s.

2-9/16" height and 2-3/4" width.

Gold-plated brass with black painted lettering.

Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
