Description
This is a Rare World War II US Army Air Force Glider Pilot Wing UK Made in Bullion Combat Blue Backing Originally Worn by Lt. Howard Johnson 316th Troop Carrier Group. The highly decorated 316th flew the Douglass C-47 Skytrain and served in both the European and Mediterranean Theaters during WWII. The center of the bullion features the letter 'G' on the center of a winged shield.

SIZE:Approximately 3-3/4" in length x 1 3/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Embroidered wool felt, bullion, combat blue backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto uniform.
