ARTIFACT:

This is a rare World War II United States Army Air Forces Airborne Troop Carrier distinctive insignia on its original card. The DI is in a patch-type design and was made in the United Kingdom in a chromed variation. This DI is like the kind worn by D-Day transport pilots.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Pin: Approximately 1" in height x 13/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chromed brass, enamel, oaktag.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal British kick (Y) pin with C catch.

MARKINGS:

REAL ENAMEL printed on card.

ITEM NOTES:
