This is a United States Army Air Forces 393rd Bomb Squadron, 509th Composite Group, 20th Air Force patch. The 509th CG was part of the Atom bombing of Hirsoshima. The patch is oval and shows a fishing lure at its center.
Circa World War II.
About 5-3/4" in width by 2-7/8" in height.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Cotton embroidery thread on cotton twill.
To be sewn onto garment.
