ARTIFACT: This is a rare hardcover World War II unit history entitled "With the 302d Transport Wing in the E.T.O." The 302nd was attached to the 9th Air Force, and the following units all have a section in the book: the 27th Air Transport Group, 370th and 371st Air Service Groups, and the 31st Transport Group. There are some great group shots of the men posing in front of their aircraft, as well as action shots and shots from the groups travels around the European Theatre of Operations. A list of the killed and missing respectfully opens the book. The book was published in 1945.

VINTAGE: Circa 1945.

SIZE: 105 pages with black and white photographs; approximately 10-5/8" in height and 8" in width and 3/8" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embossed cloth-bound cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MGEX95 LBGEX4/13 SBGEX11/28/20

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The book shows some small spots of wear and discoloration to both covers; inside of book is in excellent shape with no stains, tears or writing.
