ARTIFACT: This is a rare World War II CNAC (Chinese National Aviation Corporation) flight crew uniform breast patch. This patch was worn by crew on both their jungle jackets and flight suits. The patch was made in China in silk on cotton. CNAC was an airline co-owned equally by Pan Am Airlines and the Chinese government. CNAC ran many missions for the The Chinese Air Force's American Volunteer Group (AKA The Flying Tigers) during the war, and many AVG members became CNAC employees after the AVG disbanded.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-15/16" in height and 5" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidered in silk.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: A OK written on reverse.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII AVG-related patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCJJX14 LGGEX7/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch has some light wear; minor handwriting on reverse; small pin holes at corners.
