Description
This is a rare World War II Chinese Order of the Brilliant Star 1st class (denoted by three stars at top) sash badge. The Order was begun in 1941 and is conferred upon civilians who help to further the national interests of the Republic of China. The badge is a series of overlapping radiating patterns with a white five-pointed star for virtue on a brilliant blue field at center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:3-1/4" height and 2-7/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver with multi-colored enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Loop attachment.
MARKINGS:Chinese characters and 72.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): Badge has several small areas of enamel that are missing and some moderate tarnish.
