Description

ARTIFACT:

Rare WWI United States Navy Pilot Wing in gilt bronze and unmarked, but made by Bailey, Banks, and Biddle. It's rather unusual to find one of these unmarked, only example I've seen. Contemplating keeping them.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWI

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/4" in width x 3/4" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt bronze.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with Tiffany style catch.

MARKINGS:

None.

ITEM NOTES:

8+ (Excellent): The wing shows lovely wear and patina, overall excellent condition.
