ARTIFACT: This is a Rare World War I United States Air Service Pilot Jr Mil Aviator Wing by N.S. Meyer in Sterling with Gold U.S. 

Not Maker Marked, as is correct for ALL WWI Period Meyer-made USAS Wings-Note short-lived Come-under Tiffany Style catch.

VINTAGE: World War I.

SIZE: Approximately: 11/16" in height x 3" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver. "U.S." front is Gold.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with Tiffany-style catch.

MARKINGS: STERLING

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Air Service badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-RLB-VABJJX09/03-24 LCDGEX05/28/24

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The wing shows minor wear, and 70% of original lacquer finish still Present. Overall, it is in excellent condition.         

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
