ARTIFACT: This is a rare trench dagger made in France for trench fighting. The dagger was likely made by an American soldier, and parts of the handle are made from both a French bullet and either an American or British one. The blade resembles a Phillips head screwdriver blade and there is a decorative brass top.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 12-1/8" length and 2-3/4" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Steel and brass.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army and Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. STORE VBJX00 LABJX7/10 SABJX7/12

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent-): Dagger has light abrasions and tarnish.
