This is a rare WWI era numbered US Coast Guard Surfman's collar or cap badge #21.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1910's.
SIZE:About 1" in width by 1" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with a tongue type "C" catch.
MARKINGS:None.
