ARTIFACT: Rare WWI Canadian 1917 Victory Bond purchase pin. The red and blue celluloid pin reads: "I HAVE BOUGHT MY VICTORY BONDS" on the left and: "J'AI SOUSCRIT 'A L'EMPRUNT DE LA VICTOIRE" and the bottom center shows a red maple leaf centered within year: "1917". The reverse retains its original paper label and it reads: "T. P. TANSEY BADGES, BANNERS, BUTTONS MONTREAL, CAN."

VINTAGE: Circa 1917

SIZE: Approximately 1" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, steel

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin
