This is a Rare, numbered, # 785, 1917 Albany New York Defense Corps (Auxiliary Police) Badge. Albany is the State Capitol of New York. The badge was manufactured by Quayle of Albany NY.
VINTAGE:1917
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/8" in height x 1-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with tongue-type 'C' catch.
