Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a World War I Albany, New York Defense Corps Badge. The badge shows the seal of the City of Albany with an eagle at top and reads DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY ALBANY 171 DEFENSE CORPS.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

Approximately: 2-5/8" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with "C" catch.
