Rare Vintage 1941 Superman Junior Defense League Saylor's Bread Premium Pin

ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1941 Saylor’s Bread premium pin for the Superman Junior Defense League. Superman debuted in April 1938, and was a popular icon used for promoting bread sales. The reward to a child joining the League was a membership card signed by Clark Kent himself.

VINTAGE: Circa 1941.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4” in height and 13/16” in width.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Enameled brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin.
