Rare sterling WWI Ð 1920's United States Navy Chief Petty Officer (CPO) hat badge by A.E. Co. The hat badge is an anchor and rope with the letter"USN" in the center. The reverse shows a maker's mark that read"STERLING A-E CO."

Approximately 2" x 1- 5/8.

Gilt Sterling.

Vertical pin with "C" type catch.
