ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Women Marines recruiting poster by McCandlish Litho Corporation of Philadelphia. The poster was wonderful coloration and is in a rare size (14-1/8" by 20"). It reads BE A MARINE FREE A MARINE TO FIGHT.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 20" in height by 14-1/8" in width (not including foam board).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Paper.

ITEM NOTES: This poster will be shipped unwrapped and rolled without the foam board, unless arrangements are made for pick-up or special shipping to preserve the shrink wrap mounting. This is from a United States Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. REJV04 LBIEX1/12 SBEJX3/12

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The poster has one horizontal creases and some very small spots of wear along the right edge.
