Rare Late WWII USN Naval Aviation Observer Radar Wing Grouping of LTJG D B Jones Photo ID Photo etc

Description
This is a small circa 1945-1946 grouping originally belonging to United States Naval Aviation Observer (Radar) Lt. J.G. (Junior Grade) David Balch Jones. The grouping includes a nice glossy 8" x 10" group photograph (Jones is at the far right in the back row), as well as his wing, his observer photograph identification in a wallet and a card showing satisfaction of the U.S. Naval Aviation swimming tests and a document. The typewritten letter is from Cecil Field, United States Naval Auxiliary Air Station in Jacksonville. Florida, where Balch was stationed. The document shows completion of his Operational Training course and gives authorization for wear of the air crew wing. The wing is by H&H Imperial and is in gold on sterling silver.
VINTAGE:Circa 1945 - 1946.
SIZE:Wing is approximately 11/16" in height and 2-3/4" in width; photo is about 8" x 10"; other items are of various sizes.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wing: gold on sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Wing: two posts with clutch-backs.
MARKINGS:H&H Imperial maker mark, 1/20 10K + STERLING on reverse of wing.
