Rare, Late GAR 49th Encampment, 1928 Celluloid Badge in Combination with American Legion

Rare, late Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) 49th Annual Encampment 1928 combination American Legion celluloid pin. The pinback features a five point with the letters: "US" in the center and surrounding it reads: "AMERICAN LEGION". The celluloid 'ribbon' beneath reads: "49TH ANNUAL ENCAMPMENT G.A.R. DEPARTMENT OF INDIANA COLUMBUS 1928"

Circa 1928.

Approximately 1-1/2" in width x 2-7/8" in length.
