ARTIFACT:

This is a rare circa late 1920s lapel pin for Douglas Aircraft. Douglas Aircraft Company was a California-based outfit that began in 1921 and merged with McConnell to become McConnell-Douglas in 196The pin is tiny, and shows the company's early "Around the World" logo.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3/16" in height and 9/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

None.
