ARTIFACT:

This is a rare Korean War era (circa 1950) United States Air Force officer visor hat badge. This badge was UK-made, possibly by J.R. Gaunt, and sold by Luxenberg of New York.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1950 (early Korean War).

SIZE:

Approximately 2-7/16" in height and 2-1/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post, washer backing.

MARKINGS:

LUXENBERG NEW YORK MADE IN ENGLAND.
