Description
This is a rare example of a badge made for the United Nations' Partisan Forces Korea Line Crossers. The badge is an oval wreathed in acanthus leaves with a winged Mercury's foot upon a blue painted bar. A yin and yang symbol sits at top center in red and blue enamel.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950-1954.
SIZE:2-1/2" height and 1-1/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver-plated brass body with blue painted area and red and blue enameled symbol.
ATTACHMENT:One clutch-back attachment with one missing.
MARKINGS:"94" engraved on reverse.

CONDITION:6+ (FineÑVery Fine): Colored parts of piece have retained their vibrant colors. Areas of badge are burnished and one of the attachment pins is missing.
