ARTIFACT: This is a Rare & Important Circa 1940 United States Air Corps Flight Training Personal Badge for Air Activities of texas Corsicana Field.

This was one of the very first US Air Corps Contract Flight Schools started prior to our involvement in WWII. 

The official name of the school, as shown in article below, was: 301st Army Air Force Flying Training Detachment Primary Flight Training.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940.

SIZE: Approximately 1-9/16" in height x 1-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome plated Nickel, black paint, chrome plated brass pin.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin

MARKINGS: N/A.
