ARTIFACT:

This is a Rare & Important Circa 1940 United States Air Corps Flight Training Personal Badge for Air Activities of texas Corsicana Field.

This was one of the very first US Air Corps Contract Flight x000D Schools started prior to our involvement in WWII. 

The official name of the school, as shown in article below, x000D was: 301st Army Air Force Flying Training Detachment Primary Flight x000D Training.

Circa 1940.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-9/16" in height x 1-1/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome plated Nickel, black paint, chrome plated brass pin.
