This is a rare 1950s department-issue Massachusetts State Police Retired Lieutenant badge. The front of the badge has the seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and enameled lettering and the reverse is marked with Control Number 2.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 1-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt and plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
