ARTIFACT: 1940's Groveland, Massachusetts fire department Lieutenant badge in chromed nickel. The center of the badge shows a horn in raised detail and surrounding it reads: "GROVELAND FIRE DEPT." and is topped with an eagle.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" in height x 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chromed nickel, black paint.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin, catch is missing.

MARKINGS: "PAT 205696" on pinback

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire fighting and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MFX16 LFEX7/16 SFEX03/06/24

CONDITION: 6- (Fine): The badge shows moderate wear, mostly to high points, catch is missing (see photo), much of the chrome plated and black painted details remain intact, overall fine condition.
