Description
Rare Early WWII Printed US Army Kiska Task Force Patch Variant: Straight Guard, Small Spacers. Some members of the task force were also associated with the First Special Service Forces. Kiska is an Aleutian island that the Allied Forces "invaded" in 1943 but the outcome was rather anticlimactic as the Japanese had already deserted the island upon the troops' arrival. The patch is printed on thick cotton duck material and shows a downward stabbing dagger.
