ARTIFACT:

This is a Rare Early 1950's United State Department of Interior National Park Service Fire Control Aid Badge. Original Wearer's Initials & Years on Service Scratched on Back: DES 1951 1954 195A summer Help Badge, Korean War Service Probably kept him being in 1952 - 1953.

VINTAGE:

Early 1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/4" in height x 1-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Patinated Bronze.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.
