Rare Circa 1943 USN Pilot Wing in "War Shortages" Cast White Metal with Gold Wash

This is a rare circa 1943 United States Navy pilot wing made from "war shortages" material: cast white metal. It has been given a gold wash.

Circa 1943.

Approximately 1-1/32" in height by 2-25/32" in width.

Cast white metal with gold wash.

Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.

7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows some light wear with one minor nick to the tip of one wing.
