Description
Rare circa 1956 KPAR TV sterling lapel pin in the form of an early television camera. KPAR, now KTXS-TV is located in Abilene, Texas and is an ABC Affiliate. It was originally a CBS affiliate located in Sweetwater, but by the 1970's had received so many citations from the FCC and subsequently lost most of its stations this led to the change in name and affiliation. The pin reads: "KPAR" along the top in black enamel lettering and beneath it reads "-TV TELEVISION" surrounded by black enamel.
